3220-003 Tail Wheel Strut
This part connects the Tail Wheel Assembly with the airframe. If you having difficulty maneuvering your Searey on the ground, look at the tail from the side of the horizontal stab. If the TOP of the Tail Wheel (vertical pivot) is leaning forward, there is a strong possibility your Tail Strut is bent. When the Tail Strut is bent, the Tail Wheel will not caster properly and you will find it difficult to caster the tail wheel to pull the aircraft backwards, nor will it turn easy when under power during taxi.
