Description
7220-015 Rubber Engine Mount, Rotax 914
- 8 required per engine installation
- Check your engine is not ‘sagging’, these mounts typically last around 10 years
- You should have approximately 1 finger width of spacing between the Rotax 914 Airbox and the 914 Engine Ring Mount
Important:
- Older Classics (and some early LSX / SLSA Searey’s) have a ALUMINUM Engine Mount Inserts
- Many times when the Engine Mount Bolts are tightened, these Inserts will deform
- Progressive Aerodyne changed the Insert to steel, but did NOT issue a new part number
- These Inserts are between the rubber mounts, hidden inside – therefore you won’t know which version you have until you unbolt the engine. If you need the new style bushing, the part number is 7220-013. I ONLY supply the newer steel version.
